HCG Phase 3 Day 13 – Still Stable

24th May 15 Apologies for taking a few extra days to get my photos and stats up, I’ve got a sick 4 month old who has being rather clingy so hard to get online and update. 🙁 Now all updated for you to have a look at.

P3 is great, it’s also scary and expensive. I’m finding it quite hard to still get all of my calories as well as my protein allowance in a day as our budget is rather tight at the moment. Would be lovely if I could afford chicken breasts and steak for each meal but I can’t. I’ve been having mostly eggs and Tuna during the day and chicken or beef for dinner, I’ve also got a very good Red 8 Protein shake I have daily to bump up my protein intake. So far it’s working good.

And I am currently stable but my weight has been slowly creeping up and I wasn’t sure why, started to get scared thinking what happens if it keeps going up… Then yesterday I hit my last dose weight of 105.3kg and really started to view my Fitness Pal for anything I was eating or any trends and I realized it was because I wasn’t counting up calories for my homemade chocolate correctly and eating way to much! Knocked it on the head yesterday and had a 600g loss, happy face… I really do want to be on the low side of my 2 pound window before loading next time. (two weeks away) I also really want this to work this time and to be able to take my learning’s into life as I never ever want to be back here.

Foods I’ve introduced so far are –

  • Coconut Oil, Ghee, Cocoa Butter, Salted butter, Olive Oil, Sesame Oil
  • Coconut cream
  • Coconut flour
  • hard cheeses, like Cheddar and Parmesan
  • Chia Seeds
  • Pork, Lamb, Steak, full fat Mince, Whole Chicken including skin, canned Tuna in water.
  • Brussels Sprouts, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Baby potatoes (had dinner out, wouldn’t have anymore until P4), all Salad items including sprouts, Avocardo, plus usual P2 vegetables.
  • Only fruit I’ve had are apples

Foods I’m yet to introduce –

  • Yoghurt, soft cheeses, cream
  • Seeds like sesame, pumpkin, sunflower etc
  • Almond flour

And lastly if you do watch my YouTube video I talk about Paleo Grubs… and so I must also talk about Paleo Grubs again, their recipes are that good! Pre-HCG I had actually started to follow these guys on Facebook and Twitter first for their recipes they post via social media, but I have recently explored all of their recipes via their website and they are fantastic, easy to follow and lot of stuff you can make without any fancy ingredients. Really good for the Paleo lifestyle and very much suited to what I want my life to be going forward. Good for P3 and good for life.

Don’t just take my word for it head over to Paleo Grubs for a peak.

They’ve also got a recipe book if your interested too 🙂

I’ll be back tomorrow with a few P3 recipes you must try 🙂 Including my P3 Chocolate… It’s yum. 🙂 8 P3 days to go…
