HCG Diet – Phase 2 Day 9 – Phase 2 Round Length

Iced CoffeeSo I’m a bit obsessed at reading info on Forums and keeping up with my Facebook groups about the HCG diet and I’m glad that I am obsessed as I learned something about Phase 2 rounds that I didn’t realize.I had planned to do a 48 day round which included 2 days loading and 3 days without drops at the end, meaning that I would be doing the VLCD diet for 43 days in total and taking the drops for 45 days in total. I kept reading that people were doing 40 day rounds max… So I went back to Pounds and Inches and I’m doing it wrong and counting the days wrong! Guess I didn’t come across this last two rounds back in 2013/14 as they were short ones,  less than 30 days, so it wasn’t important. The diet plan I am following has round 2 listed as 48 days… That’s why I was getting confused!

So what does this mean for me??? I think??

I can only take drops for a total of 40 days this includes load days, so this time round I loaded for 2 days meaning VLCD will only be for 38 days until I have to stop the drops and go onto the 2/3 days without them before Phase 3. (Undecided if I want to do 2 or 3 days after the drops, as have read that taking homeopathic drops you only do the last days before P3 for 2 days instead of 3, but if you are doing the injections then you do 3 days before starting P3.) If your reading this and I’m still wrong please let me know 🙂 Hey I might not even make the full round but planning too!

Weigh in yesterday was 600g loss and today’s weigh in was another 200g loss. Very happy with that.

I also came across an Iced Coffee recipe on Pinterest which I will share… It’s seriously YUM… I’m gonna have to buy decaf coffee I think so I can have this more than once a day… It’s that good! Photo at the top is mine this morning…

Today’s Menu:

  • Breakfast – Black coffee
  • Morning tea – Iced coffee
  • Lunch – I’m going to try frying cabbage an chicken mince… see how I go.
  • Afternoon tea – 1 cup of strawberries
  • Dinner – as always Chilli beef and tomoatoes
  • Dessert – either an apple or herbal tea… see how I feel.

Lastly you might be wondering how I’m feeling after my last post on day 7??? I’m fantastic thank you for asking. 😉

    Sounds great Sam … I make a lovely curry dish with chicken, lamb (my fav) or beef mince. I make 5 serves and freeze some down.
    500g minced meat of choice
    1 large onion, diced
    3 cloves garlic, chopped or a handful of dried garlic flakes
    sprinkle of chilli flakes, depends on how much you like
    Curry powder … I like a mild Malaysian curry power and use 2 teaspoons – so do to your taste buds
    1/2 a cabbage chopped up
    Sauté the onion, garlic in a little water to start, cook until glossy, add in the chilli flakes and curry powder and stir to mix. Add meat to pan and sauté until browned, add 1 cup of stock (I use homemade and flavour depending on what meat, I have even used just plain water). Add cabbage and stir through over and over again, till coated in curry mix. Turn down and pop the lid on the pan and cook on slow for 15-20 mins. Serve and Enjoy.
